Completing these steps before class makes the best use of our time together.

Reminders and steps to complete prior to the class.

Check In / Schedule for Each Day
Check in will begin at 8:45 am MTN
We will get started right at 9:00 am (8am PST/10am CST/11am EST). 
There will be a break and we will finish up at 12:00pm.
We will have Q&A for up to 30 minutes each day.

Disclaimer (1 Minute)
If you have not already done so, please sign the disclaimer ASAP.  We need one for every person who will attend, and we will NOT deliver your content or activate your access to the website until everyone has signed.  Please use your WORK email address including your alias (not your redirect or personal email).

Email Templates (If not already complete – 3 Minutes)
We only need 1 email per agency.  If you have already sent it, disregard this section.

If you need to add, change, or remove a person
from your registration, please notify us.

 

Email Lists
Everyone will be added to our internal SPEED Training Email distribution lists to make it easy for us to send you the info during the workshop, implementation tips, and your trial of the Email Training Program.  You will receive a confirmation email, but there is nothing you need to do other than sit back and check your email.  There is no online forum to participate in, even though the confirmation email makes it appear so.

 
Workshop Emails
On the day of the workshop, you will receive a few emails from us. Each email is numbered in the subject line, and the agent only receives the ones with your custom email templates.
 
Please make sure your team is aware, because they think they missed some of the content. You may want to make sure you have enough room in your inbox because we send a lot of content!

Please complete these steps prior to the class.

Step 1 (Only 1 person from your agency needs to do this – 1-3 Minutes): Create the following Folders in Your W Drive.  You will drag the templates into these folders for your office to access.
Go to your W Drive. Right click and choose New Folder. Name the new folder “Email Templates”.
Open this new folder located: W> Email Templates.
Create these 4 Subfolders  by right clicking, choose New Folder and name them:

    • Agent
    • BOD

    • Office
    • Retention

Step 2 (the agent needs to do this – 5-15 Minutes): Set up the following 3 Outlook Folders, and 6 subfolders under your “Shared Folders” or Oh So Easy Folders.

  • Claims
  • Defector
  • IFR
  • Medicare
  • New Customer
  • Term Life PC

Step 3 (Optional – for everyone in the agency – 5-15 Minutes): Set Up Custom List Views in ECRM For BOD

Step 4 (agent only – 2-5 Minutes): Contact MySFDomain (or your website provider) at (877) 828-3131 to create 2 email addresses – forms@yourdomain.com & info@yourdomain.com.  You can also do this by yourself by going to www.mysfdomain.com from your workstation.  On the left hand side, choose Email, and then add these new emails in the center section.  Make both of these email addresses go to the agent’s email address.

Step 5: Laptops are recommended.  If you use a laptop often, we highly recommend you bring it for the tech tips that we cover at the end of class.  If you use a workstation, don’t worry – you will receive access to videos that cover the tech tips.  If you or your team member are bringing a laptop, please consider bringing an extension cord (I don’t know how the room will be set up), and make sure you know how to connect outside of the office.  I cannot stress this enough – you do not want to miss the beginning because you are on the phone with ISC.
